Bert Saperstein was a pioneer videotape producer and a man who always found time in his busy schedule to advise, encourage and help young people starting out in the business. The Bert Saperstein Communication Scholarship Fund was founded in May of 1983, after Bert died unexpectedly at the age of forty-eight. Family, friends and business associates unanimously agreed that a scholarship fund, chartered to help young deserving people with their education, would be an appropriate memorial to Bert’s life.
